Mrs. Serna has a heart for children of all ages and has a passion for helping them use their talents to serve the Lord!

Michelle Serna is currently in her eighth year as Director of the Pre-kindergarten Kids Praise Choir at Denton Bible Church. She is very active in the Denton Bible Church music ministry where she is a Soprano in the adult choir, serves on the Worship Team and is a sponsor for the High School Student Choir.

She spends much of her summers planning, writing scripts, and teaching a summer music camp at Denton Bible for 3 - 6-year-old children.

Mrs. Serna obtained her bachelor’s degree in professional studies at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. It was at UMHB that Mrs. Serna realized her need for a Savior and gave her heart and life to Jesus. She then went on to teach Spanish 1 and 2, Theater and Show Choir at Troy High School in Troy, Texas before choosing to stay home with her four children as a homeschool mom.

She has passed her love of music performance on to each of her children. She has taught them all to play piano, sing and has encouraged each of them to learn a second instrument of their own. Many times, you can find all of the Serna family playing and singing together at various events and gatherings or just in their own living room. Mrs. Serna’s greatest joy is that all four of her children have given their hearts to the Lord Jesus and delight in bringing Him praise. Mrs. Serna has a heart for children of all ages and has a passion for helping them use their talents to serve the Lord!
